well this post is a bit late, but i just have to say thanks to house 2.0 residents for opening their doors not only to good food, but good times! who knew oscar night could be so much fun?!?!?!
ps - brooklyn hilary has some great "who framed..." photos... they are a must see! too bad they aren't cc 2.5... :(

what happens when you give one man, who's extremely passionate about making things, a platform to vlog about crazy things people make?
...a space ballon named ahab...
yup, make master bre and a motley crew of friends have plans to send 20 megapixels into space! (that's a lot of megapixels!) using a google group and wiki they are long on their way to etching their names in internet folk lore! check out DXpedition, bre's flickr stream & Ahab's flickr group for continuing updates.
ps - photo is of a boxed up cannon sd400 with a broken lcd screen, two batteries and charger that i've donated to the cause!

omg, on my way home what do i see? i see the reflection of a small dog with a strange owner wearing a hat i made... then i get home and open my email and what do i see?
remember those two kids, bre and hilary who rastorbated their image on 11 Spring St and Prospect Park (see photo)? well because of miss hilary, bre is now back in nyc for a while...
for TODAY, and only today, they are now runing a one day contest. For Sunday, 18 Feb 2007, you have to take pictures of the following...
1. small dog
2. reflection
3. phone (not a cell phone!)
4. stranger wearing a hat
5. something you made
and then uploaded it to flickr... it's a game. are you ready to play?
